Had the chinstrap of my akubra pulled tight to keep my jaws closed and so Mr Rags wouldn't see me drooling.

I did however ask all of them if it was OK to take their picture. Well, most of them.

Arnie is the son of the older lady I mentioned a couple of days ago.

Rags - you say you dont do portraits, but some of those full face shots are just beaut!!

Not sure how I feel about the lion mane head-dress. I guess one of those tricky lines to cross about preserving cultural traditions and preserving wild-life/endangered species.

Mr B's boy coming back to us tomorrow for the last week of the holidays. Not sure how long it will be for but I'm looking forward to it.

Oh, btw, I got told today that I need to do a 13 day trip to PNG, Solomons and Kiribati in November. It got presented as the least favoured option that I would just have to put up with (the other trip is to Samoa and Vanuatu, which are more beautiful and the food is much better) Was I upset??? What do you reckon????

Those thingos today just looked divine. Meanwhile I had brain day cafeteria food which was an insult. Don't these people realise that I have tasted the best of Melbourne, and am a culinarily changed person?
