Warning: Polident

I used it today to clean jewellery. The gold came up a treat. Really pleased. But it coated the silver in a black coating, which luckily I got off using a silver cloth. I did use the 'whitening' polident, so not sure if that was the difference, but I thought I'd issue the warning anyway.
