Hello Undies,
Back home again....
Didn't do a lot at Wingello as we're going back there on 2nd Nov when Simon will be there with his backhoe to do stuff in ten mins that would take me days.
Some trees have come down, so chainsaw out and into it. The grass is just startingf to put a spurt on but I decided to leave the mowing till 2nd as there's a retreat on the next weekend so everything will be freshly mown.

Had losses from frost... 3 Grevillea moonlights and 2 Honey gems. Kangaroos got all but one of the 18 swamp lillies I'd planted. Will be staring on the second track as well... it will lead across a rill to a
flat(ish ) area where I had the lillies planted. Going to eventually plant out a grove of waratahs as it will be reasonably protected from frost. Mr Rags and I will make a couple of seats for people to sit and meditate. Will put up some piccies next month.

Off to Sydney tomorrow early so no Cambodia pictures till Monday.

Next Friday we're going to go and do the sculpture by the sea walk followed with dinner at Gowings.

No worries at all Lilly. I had to find a simple camera for a simple girl.

So far so good. Easy to work and easy to transfer the images around the place as well.

Lily, I was driving through where the cars will race a few weeks ago and it was already unpleasant. I won't be going near there for awhile.

Haps, hubs and I did the shopping together today which is always a no no. We came home with lots of candy for all the trick treaters we don't have, because hubs had demolished most of the candy we already bought for Halloween.

Satz, SO EXCITING! I LOVE Byron Bay, and I know you will too. They have lots of good restaurants and shops, and a beautiful beach. It will be very hot and probably humid, so think sun dresses and swimmers. If you're not a dress gal go for light clothing options. The water here is plenty warm, you absolutely must go for a swim, or at least dip your feet in.

My heart about burst when I saw the pic of you and your grandfather. I loved my grandfather so much, and am a bit weepy as I think of him now. What gifts they were.

Btw, I recently found out mine was a bank robber in his younger days (turn of the 20th century)! I researched the newspaper articles, and it was quite a story. I put together a little book about it, and will donate it to our local library when the last of the elder peeps are gone. I LOVE the story. Who'd have thunk????:H My dear, sweet, granddaddy....

Uh, oh..desperate thought... what G's up to...? I hope he doesn't need money for a new Strat or Martin D-18!
