The wooden boat show was on at the Maritime Museum I think last week but I missed it as I didn't know it was on. There was one boat in particular built about 1924 and the present owner has spent heaps doing it up. Can't remember the bname. Built out of Billy pine. Was requisitioned in WW11 and had 2 machine guns put on it and sent up to New Guinea. The first HMAS Stalwart? Damn, can't remember.

Oh that looks so damned yummy and all I'm having is spag bol. Microwaved.

Though I did do a rather nice mango (they weren't green unfortunately) salad on Thursday night.
Added some bream fillets doused in orange juice, lime juice, squirt of fish sauce rice wine vinegar and palm sugar. Pretty good.

Hi all. Dinner was very good last night. I then browsed the galleries in Scottsdale. Since my excitement tank was only half full, I was up at 4am to watch the Orionid meteor shower. Wonderful. Luckily I live far enough away from the city ambient light.

Morning all,
Havent been around much as busy busy with the start of teeball & littlt league season. Glad to say that all 3 boys won their games.

This is the restaurant with that fabulous sauce I’ve been raving about, and here was the serving. Tiny, but what a taste sensation..

Next day the tree was gone so I could enjoy the view of the temple next door.


Down for brekky… another taste experience. Hint. Put the cold croissant through the toaster to warm and crisp up the outside.. Put your bread through the toaster twice so it toasts and not just dries out. Our guide is there at 9am to pick us up (a bit more civilized than the 7 am starts we had inAfrica).
