my large gardener man Brett is mowing up a frenzy, now I must go hop on the ride-on Tawny style, so lovely the weather here currently. Sunny, warm, still, birds all a-tweeting. Dogs all a-sleeping, horses all a-dozing. Me better shift arse & take names.

Wow, CW - long time no see. Glad you popped in. And Beags, you too. I didn't get a mow in today because it's really bloody cold again. About 14C. I thought all that had stopped but I caved in and lit the pot belly.

Thanks for your continuing good thoughts for my mate. No update as to the patient today. Don't know if that's good or bad but I'll keep you all posted as and when I hear something.

Highlight of the day - my 12 bales of pea straw were delivered and he gave me a 13th free of charge. Gotta love those cockies. Really interesting man, he decided to go into growing pea straw because he "only had 1,000 acres". It will be a really good mulch, eventually breaking down and adding nutrients to the soil and generally improving biodiversity. Bring on those earthworms and microbial activity, I say!

Boss away so I kind of hoped for a quiet week - didnt happen. A little busy on that front. Work computer crashed too. Locusts are truly horrible. Mr Happs has nipped up to the Sunshine Coast to pick up a drop saw he bought on ebay so no grown up to vent to....until NOW...
