Hi everyone, decided I'm going to keep away from the contoversial med thread, so many people squabbling on here these days. I also find it impossible to mod, I personally feel if you can moderate your drinking, how would it be a problem ?, just my opinion. K9, did you not know that 40 is now the new 25, according to our press. Hope you have a happy birthday.

Thanks for the Bday wishes...now lets ignore it tomorrow ok?
So I had several goals for myself to reach by age 40. Here they are:- Quit Drinking = DONE!
Quit Smoking = DONE!
Be open to a relationship = Working on it
I'll reveal more later, but I have a tentative date with a very close friend of my brother-in-laws...so close that it almost feels like incest, ok, not that bad, but my nephews do call him "uncle" and I'm already aunt. I invited him to join me for a few laps around the Chinese Buffet...now who could resist that? He thought that was funny, and he also loves that place. No definite date yet, but my sister is so excited she's about to pee herself. LOL:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

I just read back on your thread and had a right good laugh!!!!
You are all NUTZ!!!!! NUTZ I tells ya!
Here is my deal with the boards. If I read outside of the Army I get "engaged" in rubbish. I can tootle on over here and y'all are nice and there is no reason to be perturbed. The rest... 'scuse me..... but fuck it. Sounds bad I know but that is my deal.
Off to take pictures of my new fur baby. He is fitting in so well with Dougie... and I had a wee tear in my eye when I picked him up yesterday, I was so glad he got here safe and sound. Oh... yes, Mama, he was flown in. From Oregon. My guilty pleasure! It was Hamish or botox for my birthday... lol

p.s. To clarify... If I was uber-on-top of my game I would have some to spare for other people and other threads. The way it stands at the moment, I share the luuuurve with a chosen few. It's not like I am selfish or anything... just to clarify...
The pot roast beckons. Yer all great. ) Nighters... xxx

That's why this thread is so great...no fighting (except for who the penguin belongs to!)...
Ok, so I'm gonna try dating I guess (if he is receptive). My sister is already planning the wedding and we haven't even gone out to the buffet yet. LOL He is kind of reserved, so I think he needs someone like me to just lead him by the balls. HA
Sierra is totally for it, and suprisingly, so are ALL my nephews, and my parents. We've got it all planned out...now we just need to fill him in on the details. LOL:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Paula - can't even believe that you had drama on the meds thread. Gee whiz. I am definitely staying here.
Oh well - Happy LATE birthday to ZEN and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to K9."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett
