Hi everyone been busy today, getting ready to go off for the weekend tomorrow, got a 50th party on saturday so away until sunday. A few months ago I would have dreaded going because there will be lots of booze about, it's lovely to not worry about drinking. That doesn't mean I'm complacent, my motto is remain vigilant, as time goes on it does get easier. For anyone who is struggling, I never believed I would get sober.

Hi Everyone!

Today IS going to be a better day, I can tell! I'm glad things are looking up for everyone. I feel good today, just bummed that my entire paycheck goes to rent...BUT, at least I have a paycheck to pay rent, right?? Oh, and today is day SIXTY without cigarettes, AND I totally scored at the Goodwill last night, they were having a 50% off sale...so yeah, things are good!

Mama...I'm SO HAPPY your smart hubby passed the test, I knew he would! I'm glad you're feeling better today too...it's good to have a rest day now and then.

Nora, Paula, Zen, Juja and everyone...have a great day...tomorros is FRIDAY!

No apologies needed, because no one's been a downer. K9, you're a rock, as is Mama, and Nora, you're human. Enough.

We all have our bad days, and we're entitled to them. We also have a right to be annoyed, irritated or pissed off, too. For Dog's sake, don't expect me to be an angel, because I'm not. Plus, if I have the blues, I'm going to have to come here! I don't have anyone else to talk to!

So, I'm glad everyone's doing better. The good and bad in life come in waves, and we have to ride 'em, I suppose.

K9>I scored at the Salvation Army today, and got some pants for work. Two pairs were .49 each! Can't beat that. Couple of shirts, too. Yay me!

Met up with an old friend, too, and had a nice visit. It was nice to go to "town," as I love my days there spent alone.
