:hello: everyone sory i haven't posted on this tread in a while its just so busy and hard to keep up. Well done to everyone who reaching their goal and to everyone trying no matter what stage you're at. Well i started on October 1st and today i am 27 days af. Not long to go to reach another full month. Its a long time such i got this far usually bout 2 3 wks in i tend to slip but with the help of AA meetings this site and the support of you peeps and God i feel better this time around and next is just to get to the end of the year specially holiday period which i haven't had sober that i can remeber. Short term goals are fine for me for now one day at a time. Wishing you all a sober saturday and a lovely weekend. Getting very cold here in Ireland and lots of dead leaves falling from the trees and turning nice autumn shades. Forecast for dry weekend but cold and froasty. Now for more coffee.:cupajoe:

Well, folks, after 14 wonderful AF days, I blew it last night--4 glasses of wine. I couldn't hold off the devil.

My embarrassment here, and disappointment in myself, are far worse than my slight hangover.

Today's another day.....

Looks like a lot of people are out at Halloween parties. At least according to Facebook. I remember one party that we went to at a friend of mine. This was probably 30 years ago. We took a bunch of people with us. Well, one of our friends ended up throwing his guts up on the spa lid. Another friend started flirting with the neighbors wife. Another friend slept with my friend that threw the party. We don't get invited out much anymore. :H:H:H

My flatmates have been partying all weekend, with folks staying over at the flat. Noisy. So little sleep for me. Could have, perhaps, gone to a halloween party tonight... but just not feeling the vibe.

Not much going on here. Ran errands and watched Clay pout all day cause he is grounded. I feel bad for him cause he misses his girlfriend, but Bret is sticking to his guns about the grounding and I have to support him
Juja....like Nora said...good job on 14 days. I would not have been able to stop at 4 glasses. I know that. Every time I test myself, I fail. So, it's NONE for me and I try not to have regrets about the past.
