    Army Thread Friday 5th October

We're starting to move into that territory, Molls. I get disdainful looks whenever tell the cubs to "turn down that fucking shit.". Referring to MTV and the like. It's probably preferable to catching the eldest cub still watching stray episodes of Teletubbies. That boy's going to need some therapy :H

I've done both over here private and NHS.
We carry our private medical aid cards with us at all times and there are stickers on the cars to identify us a private medical aid members. That's to make sure we don't get taken to a state hospital in case of emergency. It is probably more deadly to end up in one.

I think the NHS is one helluva achievement. One can only hope it doesn't fall prey to "austerity."

Why do you think I get a bit cross when people start going on about how crap the NHS is. Gawd knows what would happen if we all went private.

There's a dear auld Doctor and surgeon that I know who was one of the first NHS doctors and he said it's always been run on a shoestring and goodwill.

                NEWSFLASH!

We have Ma using a smartphone for the 1st time. She still needs to get used to the qwerty keypad, but so far so good!

Reading back as fast as I can

Great news about Clay. Hope you are OK Mama

We are so lucky to have our NHS. I had all my Cardio investigations without any money worries. I am having Physio twice a week--No charge No prescription charges as I am over 60. I could go on.

Molly are you anaemic as well? B12 deficiency often goes hand in hand with low B12

Hope everyone is having a good Friday evening.

                    Fed up with no exercise:upset:

It's taken Zennie an awfully long time to move from one room to another. Does she live in a very big house?

Are they lowering the age for eligibility to 32?
