Wow thats good news Pinky new fireplace and money for decorating. I love picking out paints and assecories and stuff for rooms. My hall and livingroom need doing and hopefully get it done before the year is out. Won't be going for purple tho i pale pink and purple in my bedroom which i want to change next year too. Hate the hassle of painting and getting rooms ready moving stuff etc but worth the effort for a job thats looks good. Best make a start on that ironing now. Be back later.

Made lasagne for dinner - beef for three of us, tuna for the youngest, who has decided she doesn't like mince. Made enough so we can have it tomorrow night as well

Mrs. T safe and sound. Already out shopping earlier, I believe. Her and her bestie now having dinner "somewhere in Soho" (I'm sure she said it just to try and make me jealous).

Cubs being reasonably behaved so far. They "foretold" how much I was going to scold them, until I explained that the easiest way to avoid it is to anticipate what might give me reason... MAy our understanding last for the full three weeks
