I have the week from hell ahead of me - one hell of a lot of stuff to get through in between a calendar jam-packed with meetings I can't get out of. At least it keeps me out of trouble, I guess

Good morning Tips and everyone else to come
Been quite busy myself, Tips. Busy is good up to a certain point....:H
Yesterday I took a much needed "do nothing day" curled up under the duvet with my son watching crap television. It rained all day so I didn't even feel guilty about being lazy.
Back to work today though-early start.
I had a quick read back on yesterday's thread. Sending hugs to Mario.:l

Morning Tipps and Expat. Another cold day of rain here so don't have to venture out today. I got drowned yesterday going to an AA meeting as we had very heavy rain much of the day. Not doing much today just a bit of housework and some laundry and ironing. Getting colder by the day. First coffee made and back in bed watching Ireland am.:cupajoe::television:

Hi foxy how is it going? How often do you go to AA meetings and do you speak at them?
I am sure I still need something like AA to keep my thoughts on the right track.

Congrats Pingu on another month done.

Morning Pingu Mick Anon and the rest to come. Well done onanother month Pingu you have done great with your sobritety. Anon i go to about 4 to 5 meetings a week but not always sometimes just 1 or 2 but i'm trying to get one a day in now as i need them to stay sober. I don't always share it depends how i feel or sometimes the chair person might aske me to then i just talk briefly. I'm not great or very comfortable at speaking at meetings but they say it helps so i 'm taking it at my own pace. Maybe try a meeting near you most are very friendly and welcoming.
