I heard a story in my last community about a bloke who was sick of drunks from the nearby pub walking past his front flower beds and pissing on them.
So he procured some of that electrified fencing that they use to keep cattle and horses in and encircled the property with it.
A couple of nights later one of the usual urinators stopped to 'shake hands' over the electrified annual bed and connected directly with the current, which then conducted rather nicely back to his old fella through the urinary salts.
I imagine his badoobies did not descend again for some time.

Just reading back a bit. Good on you Tawn for getting that guy to hospital. I was reading a few weeks ago that if you can treat within a couple of hours of the stroke, chances of full /good recovery are quite high. Is that right Bridge?

Happs, If that pooh was in arms length of me I'd scoff it all down, then be remorseful later.... hmm a bit like my pisshead days....

                      Arvo Undies,

OK - spoke to Stroke Bloke at lunchtime - his speech is pretty fusked but not completely unintelligible and he's lost some leg and arm mobility. Have no idea yet whether these are permanent or temporary states. On the upside - he's alive, thinking, alert and even managing to laugh about how he sounds. He was really happy that they gave him jelly and ice cream.

On Liver Lady - still in ICU but showing good signs of improvement although now off the transplant waiting list until various infections are under control.

On the bright side ... two stumpy tails just waddled through the door and headed straight for the cat food. What a bloody treat.

                        Throb stumpies...

Been thinking, when Dad had his "first" stroke Mum told him to stop whingeing and go see a doctor...turns out it had been a series of strokes...he hadn't realised it and neither had anyone else, bizarre...

Yes Aspy, Shingle backs - for some reason we call them stumpies down here. Very lovely. Can't believe they just rocked into the house and straight to the cat food.
