Bridge - my favourite brand of stockings on special this week. I stocked up.

Man, it has been hot hasn't it?? I reckon we will need to bunker down this summer, if this is any indication. I don't know if I mentioned that my grandson's fourth birthday party is being held at my place this Saturday - pool party of course. It is supposed to be 41+ - yikes. I suggested we cancel....

FH is painting away madly. Last night he almost finished the 'gym' room. It was bright blue, very dark and it has taken him a few coats to get it right. He's a champion - it looks great. I never thought we would be like this, doing these things, looking out for each other and doing things around the place to ensure each other's comfort. I'm lucky.....only a year ago was another life.....I'm lucky!

The double front doors went on yesterday. They look fab and I feel like a real grown up with big heavy doors - kinda like the ones on The Sopranos....I'm lucky!

Tawny - remember the great photo of the garlic spider you posted ages ago? I've still got him as my desktop. It's a wonderful photo!

Interestingly, I only came across one spider during my jungle clearing adventure on Sunday. Right at the end of the day during 'tidy up my mess' mode... He scurried for cover and I let him be. Lots of little skinky lizards.

Everyone is invited over for a swim - it's already hot here at postcode 2145.

Now Bridge me lovely - just between you and me of course! Remember, I lost millions of weight so had surgery to put me bits (and me guts) back where they needed to be.....SO me guts are flat-ish! Had a bit of a muffin top happening a while back, but lost that again through being protein (and exercise) focussed.

Don't tell anyone Bridge!!!
