Cruisey day here today. Last day of delegate training. We had a bit of a focus on bullying and harrassment laws and that subtle harrassment/intimidation some workplaces excel in. Interesting stuff. I see a couple of OH&S incident reports on the horizon, which will at least draw senior managements attention to the fact that even 'subtle' harrassment is not okay.
How are you going Sunny and Leon? Flat out like a lizard drinking i'm sure! Hope all's well there.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Mad storms last evening. My little Dharmsie has decided she hates storms so had to sleep with us. FH NOT impressed - me either, actually. Suffice to say we both feel like broom riders this morning. Lilly the FH loving cat wasn't speaking to anyone this morning. Her bed, her rules and Dharma isn't allowed. Oh well.....
Today is Dharma's birthday, she is 11. I sang happy birthday to her but she was feeling a little out of sorts because of a her disrupted sleep - I kept accidentally kicking her - so we will have to celebrate properly tonight. That is, if any of us can keep our eyes open!
Even though I was a trooper on Sunday in the garden we decided to get a quote of having around the pool cleared of the massive palms and numerous palms. I told FH that it was going to cost a bomb when we were deciding whether or not to buy the place. Well, I was absolutely right - 10K they say. There is just no way we could manage most of the work and nothing has been done in the garden in absolute years! Another oh well..... I'll get a couple more quotes.
The place is respectable as it is Mr G so these little reno's we're doing won't impact on your tour date! You bringing Bridge?? Actually Bridge should be your manager! There'd be no trouble AT ALL with her in charge!
Techie - I was thinking about all the physical adventures you take on. I don't think I'd be brave enough to the night time thingy you did. Your energy and enthusiasm deserves a medal!! I'm still recovering from Sunday!!
Sorry to hear about Hubs shoes Haps. He shoulda done what he was told! I think Lilly would have done that to one of us if we hadn't buggered off to work this morning and let her go back to sleep! Wish I was a cat - for today only!

Bug bombs set off this morning and new flea treatment bought for wee Betty. yay!
Had a Dr appointment today and my blood pressure has come down heaps, thanks to the medication. We've agreed that I'll stay on it until the move to Sydney is all done and dusted, and them aim to be medication free through a combination of better diet and trying once more to learn how to meditate. I must download that ABC series that Reggie recommended !
Today Wellington is swarming with people dressed up as hobbits and dwarves, although to be frank some of them look a lot more like trolls. :H I'm going to take a wee walk at lunchtime down the red carpet that has been laid along the street in front of the theatre .....Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Morning lovelies!
Hiya Gster, Nicey, Techie, Haps, MB, and all to come.
I don't have to work til 4pm so I get the whole day with Leon. We're about to head off on a walk, it's been a while since I've walked.
Missy, I've been reading up on heart disease which runs in my family. I am going to go the rest of the distance (we're half way there,) and eat 90% heart friendly foods. I'm also committing to myself to lose the rest of these baby weight to be healthier and have a lower chance of heart disease. Plus I want to be as active for Leon as I can be.
So undies, I've been thinking lately. I've had a few backhanded comments made to me about things I do or ways I am, and I've decided as long as I'm happy with me, I don't care what anyone else thinks. I am not going to go out my way to change somebodies miss perception of me. It is a waste of time and it makes them seem a bit judgmental. I don't care that I rock Leon to sleep and other moms frown at me for it. I waited a long time for him to come into my life and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. I don't care if people think I am bad driver, if I do things funny because I'm an American. If people have time to sit around and gossip about me, I don't really care. I've got a job to go to, a baby to take care of and spend time with, a husband to love and annoy, and heaps of other stuff to take up my time. I will not let others actions dictate mine (unless I have road rage.) That's my two cents Undies. So if you're happy with yourselves, no body elses opinion matters. Keep going strong!
