Bridge - I just can't do the no sugar gig. I'm weak......it is just SO hard. I'd give anything to NOT be invited to parties..... What does one 'do' at parties? I kept saying 'that's interesting'....LOL!!! FH kept saying it was the best party he'd been at in years..... All we did was sit at a table and talked (I listened mostly) about crap.... I actually counted how many christmas beetles crashed into the flouro light. I got to 23 when it was time to go home - thank dog!!!!It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

Hiya Gster, Nicey, Techie, Haps, MB, and all to come.
I don't have to work til 4pm so I get the whole day with Leon. We're about to head off on a walk, it's been a while since I've walked.
Missy, I've been reading up on heart disease which runs in my family. I am going to go the rest of the distance (we're half way there,) and eat 90% heart friendly foods. I'm also committing to myself to lose the rest of these baby weight to be healthier and have a lower chance of heart disease. Plus I want to be as active for Leon as I can be.
So undies, I've been thinking lately. I've had a few backhanded comments made to me about things I do or ways I am, and I've decided as long as I'm happy with me, I don't care what anyone else thinks. I am not going to go out my way to change somebodies miss perception of me. It is a waste of time and it makes them seem a bit judgmental. I don't care that I rock Leon to sleep and other moms frown at me for it. I waited a long time for him to come into my life and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. I don't care if people think I am bad driver, if I do things funny because I'm an American. If people have time to sit around and gossip about me, I don't really care. I've got a job to go to, a baby to take care of and spend time with, a husband to love and annoy, and heaps of other stuff to take up my time. I will not let others actions dictate mine (unless I have road rage.) That's my two cents Undies. So if you're happy with yourselves, no body elses opinion matters. Keep going strong!
HUGS!!!!

I sometimes laugh - my mother had her first baby in 1946 and her last in 1964. My siblings' reproductive eras went from 1965 to 1992. Our family is now onto its next generation. My mother was laughing the other day about the "let kids eat what they can hold in their hands" stuff .... my nieces are pretty much into it with their 3-4 year olds. My mum's view was very much along the lines of "how else do they learn to eat?". She grew up in the Pacific and food was what you can grab. As a family we weren't that great on food hygiene. I reckon we have great immunity to bugs though!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hello Undies!
I'm back... and lots of catching up on posts to do, and only to-day to do it as I'm off to Wingello tomorrow to do lots of planting etc whi;e the ground is damp and pliable.
The internet went bung on me while I was in NZ so I asked Mr Rags to post saying I couldn't get on.
Meanwhile for the horticulturally inclined, go to google and type in Grev. firesprite (do not type not Grevillea)and have a look at what comes up about 3 down the page. Scary.
Catch you all later when I've read back through seveal hundred of your posts... gasp.
Techie. Thankyou so much. PM on way soon.
