Tawny, the critter cam broke down. Or, it was dismantled by my ground hog. I had a naughty ground hog living beneath the tool shed at the cabin. Although the environs are chock-full of delightful leafy tidbits, she chose to dine upon the wiring in my fennel-mobile. I discovered she was the perp by placing the critter cam beneath my car. I have several images of her furtively glancing around before chinning herself up into the undercarriage. I have an image of her later fleeing the scene.

I tried flooding her out of the tool shed, to no avail. She thumbed her nose at my attempts to live trap her. I finally resorted to throwing a box of moth crystals down her burrow. Bingo! She's moved out. After two bouts of chewed wires and over a thousand dollars worth of repairs.

Anyway, the critter cam stopped working, so I am going to purchase a new one.

Hi, Nora, fen, and mama: quiet Friday morning. It's cold and dark and I don't want to go to work! I work 6 days a week, it's very tiring. And the stock market plummeted since the election which means I probably can't retire until I'm 104. Very depressing indeed. Gotta get get ready to drive to work soon and will check back later...
