Juja, the Shenandoah valley is one of my favorite parts of the country. I was in Winchester Va in September and we crossed the river at a point that was just a concrete bridge with no sides just above the water. Wild. I adore the mountains and am very jealous that this is your home.

Just got home from taking my brother and mom out for breakfast. He's leaving today. I saw lots of pictures from his new home in Thailand...the whole construction process was fascinating. Things are done very differently than here.

OMG - what a day
I talked one of my co-workers into calling an ambulance and going to the hospital. She called my cell and said her blood pressure was 202 over 120..........and asked if that was bad!!!!!
So now she has been admitted and is on morphine and nitro
it's a damn good thing I don't drink!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plus I had a conference call with my new boss...she's a sweetie
hope Juja is ok....I can't handle any more drama right now!!

Mama, my big brother is retired career Airforce. He met his Thai wife when he was stationed there in the early seventies. When I was thirteen, he sent for her and brought her over here to the states with her son and she and my brother's new baby. I was an auntie at thirteen!:h

My brother worked for Boeing after he retired from the Airforce, and after that gig, they moved back to Thailand. It's way cheaper to live well there than here. They moved into her original neighborhood, and just built a brand new house where the old one used to be.
