Fen - I'm sorry to hear about your friends Mom. We are lucky that my Mom's seem to be progressing slowly. They have her on 2 different medications for Alzheimer's and it does seem to have helped. It hasn't improved anything, of course, but it seems to be helping to slow it down.

Hi friends
Still no internet, so on my phone hunting & pecking.

I'm sorry for everyone's troubles. Our parents, and we(caretakers) are at that age. My mother believes she will get better. Heartbreaking.

Anyone wish someone would take care YOU? I do--just once in my life I'd like to be cherished and feel safe.

No pity party here, just feeling spent and low.

J's mom is doing well. She was thrilled to have us with her this weekend. Did a ton of errands for her. Pappy's cremains are up on the entertainment center. It was so weird to not have him come strolling up for a kiss when we arrived. :upset:

Hi all. I've missed you! I went to a fabulous production of Bille Elliot tonight. It's so wonderful to walk just a few blocks to the tube, travel one stop and walk 2 blocks to the theatre. As in NYC, there are bars in the theatres and patrons can bring drinks back to their seats. Sigh. I had a little longing but I now know that I wouldn't stopat just one and the rest of my trip would be figuring out how to buy more. So I'm settled with a cup of tea and I will read about you all. I hope you're doing well and miss me terribly, lol just kidding. Sweet AF dreams all.
