One Step at a Time - November 2012

Mama: glad to hear you getting better. Sounds like the antibiotics worked!!!

Juju: don't feel bad, the people at your work place are glad that you're not there to spread germs to them. And if you send some germs my way, I'll get a doctor to write me a note on Monday so I don't have to testify.

Zen: come decorate my bedroom too! But I have clothes all over the bedroom floor. My husband says at least they help to protect the carpet from dirt and stain.

i deal w adults and kids at my job. And w kids, i get dragged into court over custody issues. This time the caregiver of the child in question is nuts and paranoid, she'll definitely come after me since the issue they need me to testify about is her sanity. She will be sitting right there looking at me while i testify about how paranoid she is. So I'm doomed.

Hope everyone feel and see better soon. Did k9 come back yet or is she still MIA? Maybe she's off on another hot date...

        Hi Everybody!

Happy Friday! Nora - Thanks for checking on me...I know I was a bit quiet yesterday but all is well...I was SO busy as work, which is kind of rare, normally I am bored! But every time I logged in and wanted to reply, my phone would ring or a customer would come to the counter...arrrggghhh..I was reading all day though!

Mama - Feel better! I had my first flu shot this year...we'll see if it actually works.

I recently redecorated my bedroom, need I even say where I got most of my stuff? Thrift store! The only things I bought new were some wall decorations from Pier 1 Imports. I love my room now...but then I go into my daughters room and my smile fades a little bit...whole 'nother story. LOL

Hope everyone is well today...will check in later after my coffee kicks in!
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

shit AL...I hold "the ladies" in place, rip out my earrings, and punch em with my free hand....

            KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DID have to hold "the ladies" once and run from some biatches that wanted to beat me up coz I had the nerve to serve them eviction papers...I mean they were only five months behind with their rent...

I am no-nonsense, and don't take crap , but I am also very kind and fair.....
don't lie to me or hide from me, and we will get along fine.

I have learned that certain types respect toughness..I have to "get on their level", if that makes sense.....but I sure don't have to stay there!!!

Mama you crack me up. I can imagine you getting all "ghetto". LOL
Yep, she's getting baptized this weekend...she'll just wear something modest to get baptized in (shorts/tank top), we don't really have an "outfit" for baptism. We're heading out of town tonight, I'm excited just to GO! I haven't heard from my "date" since we had dinner. We kind of left it at "See you this weekend" (he'll be at the convention too), so we'll see what happens...I'm sure we'll be going out to eat with everyone! Monday I start my diet!

K9: I hope you see him at the convention and I hope he turns out to the best bathroom cleaner in the world too . (From your other post).

Mama: yeah, some people think they deserve free rent! 5 months?! Ridiculous!

OMG!!! I am HOWLING over here!!!!! :H:H:H The eviction papers!!! :H

Ally... I'll back Mama up if you need us! And I don't have to hold onto my boobies like she does on account of the fact that I'm not that well endowed!!!

On a more serious note... do they offer you anything in the way of protection if it were to get out of hand and she were to go mental on you?
