OK... Here comes a little bit of controversy. I was going to sit on my hands and smooth it over but, in retrospect, I don't think I should.

I think some of the responses to Questy on yesterday's thread were a bit harsh. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and all that jazz. And hands up who hasn't been in her shoes at one point... where you couldn't.quite.get.it.together...

Gosh, a lot of musical talent on this thread. My claim to fame is I used to be able to play the guitar by ear (yes, yes? ?that must?ve hurt??) but haven?t played in years.

Nora? Did you have a good time? Visiting the folks can be both rewarding and stressful, imho. It?s good to be back home with the folks, everyone?s happy to see each other? but for me it usually gets to around Day 4 and my mother starts bitchin?! And NOBODY can get under my skin like me Ma!

Mama? Hamish update ? he?s off to the Vet for a follow up this arvo and I hope its cleared. If it?s genetic, it will come back and then I?ll need to decide about full mouth extraction etc. Is your turkey fryer indoor? Only ever seen an outdoor one. It sounds mah-ve-lous dahlink! ;o)

Zen - I had a WONDERFUL time. Way too short. I'm very luck in that I just love spending time with my parents. Things get a little stressful with my brother sometimes but that's it. I wish I could live up there with them.

I hope you get good news about Hamish.

That's great that you spend quality time with them Nora... you must miss them. It would be nice for you to be closer but at least it's not too long a trip. Takes me approx 22 hours door to door! :nutso:

I think what the Vet will say is it's clearing, maybe one more bottle of antibiotic, then wait to see if it re-appears when he's off the meds. If it does, then the probs begin...

Yes, lots of music talent!
Zen: able to play guitar by ear is awesome. Playing any instrument by is talent. I have a guitar but can't play.

And mama can sing! I can't carry a tune!

I have a concert grand piano but only can play at second grade level an only w notes only. .

Hi folks, feel much better today, thanks Zen. Almost finished christmas shopping. Last week we had floods this week it's freezing, the weather has gone mad. I'm afraid I have no musical talent, husband plays guitar, keyboard and sings in church choir. Me I'm tone deaf and have not discovered any talent.
