One Step at a Time - November 2012
Congrats Jan - to your perfect ten - not sure what it is for but it sounds wonderful!!!!! I am very happy for you.
I too have been very up and down over the past few years - not sure if I can blame it on meno or not - chemo knocked me into it once - then once my body has sorted itself out from that and got settled down, it went into it naturally and once again I was knocked sideways. It has been a very rough few years. Moods up and down. AL up and down. I had always been able to keep my AL intake to 2 a night - as most of you know, I drink Guinness - but lately I am up to 3-4 a night which for me, is a problem. I am really struggling. I have just upped my Topa. AND taking my L-Glut and kudzu too. So hopefully something here will give soon.
You all sound as if you are in the same boat, except most of you have kicked the drink on the head. Which is why I don't post here any more - I KNOW - I could, but I don't. Don't want to make anyone new feel as if they will never ever get the problem solved. I will one day sort myself out once and for all - if I get back to my one or two a night I will be happy.
Ally - I have NO idea why your hands are still tremoring after three weeks of no AL - maybe you should see a doc????? That is not normal!
Hi zen - Hugs XX
K9 - you said 'future husband' - is there something I missed??????? PM me 'cos I might miss it !!!!
Hi Nora - good to see you - glad you got your machine - sorry about the marks it leaves on your face :H:H but if it helps you sleep - what the heck!!!!!
love and hugs to all,
Sun XXHow simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....

Now Nora's going to be addicted to Oxygen. If it ain't one thing it's another. Glad you slept well last night though. It should make a world of difference. I'm excited for the plans Zen has to redecorate our hen-fest-party-room.
I could use a nap right now, although I did have a faboo massage. Took some laundry over to a friends house so now there are clean undies for all. No power tonight but there are trucks in the area doing real work. The crews are from Missouri. God Bless 'em for all their hard work.
Zennie - Jersey girls rock.
Now I have to go read about K9 and see what happened with the husband to be, lol. later Chicas!

"Future Husband" may have been a bit of an exaggeration...ya'll know how I am. LOL
I don't even think the poor guy is really on to us yet, we keep setting up situations where he's there and I'm there....but he's a man, and true to form, fairly oblivious. We shall see. I may be too set in my ways to let anyone into my life (unless it's a 4 legged person...woof)
p.s. Mama, I always knew you were a PERFECT TEN!!! You go girlfriend!!!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

Too much to read and respond to...will catch up later.
Sunni dear>Don't assume some us on this thread aren't struggling. I am, so join me in our fight. I can assure you none of the lovely people on this thread will judge you.
Tired, and still sick. Waiting for the antibiotic to kick in.

Finally home!! Sure, I'm finally home and everybody is going to bed. :H
Nurdl - had to laugh about me being addicted to oxygen. Yep - got to be addicted to something, might as well be air. :H Glad that you were able to get some laundry done. Hopefully, you'll get some power soon.
Juja - I sure hope those antibiotics start helping. You poor thing. You've been sick for so long. Just rest & take it easy.
K9 - I can't believe that he hasn't caught on yet. You ended up out to dinner alone and he still doesn't get it.
Dottie - How are you doing? Are things going ok?
Paula - was today swimming with the Grandkids or is that tomorrow? How are you doing?
Ally - how's it going? I wonder what the tremors could be caused by. Sorry, you are going to have to go to the Doctor and just say no needles. :l
Mama - Really happy for you & your perfect score. That is awesome. Congrats on not going to Happy Hour. I'm sure that had some mixed emotions. But, you're right! You will be the one with no hangover tomorrow. Love you girl. Hope your back feels much better."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett
