Thanks everyone for your support..all I would say is a couple of things...for those that think they cant or wont succeed..you will ..if you try..and you wont get better support than from this site...somewhere along the line your attitude will change from needing a drink to being grateful that you dont..thats not to say temptation wont rear its ugly head, but by that time you should have coping strategies in place...or indeed jump on here for advice and help.

Secondly,I have heard so many times...what can I tell people...I feel ashamed etc etc.Never ever be ashamed or embarrassed to tell people you dont drink..they dont need to know why ..I dont drink end of..Be proud..every single person who has done a day should be proud..there are so many people out there who secretly would like to bin al but either cant or wont.

There are so many threads on here to help, and yes occasionally you get the odd nastiness creeping in ..but that happens outside too.

For newbies, you cannot get better than Byrdie and co in the nest to help you,The general is what it says ..a general topic site which is good fun run by JC
