It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day in Cape Town. The Cape Doctor has settled and temperatures in the low 30s expected. WooHoo!!!

Off to the optometrist at 8 - I had a bit of a tough time on the road last week - signposts and such were a bit too blurry to my liking. Hopefully he can sort out somethnig about my near vision as well. Reading a book or seeing what's on the screen of my phone can be a bugger at times. Ageing is a bugger ain't it?

The eye thing is a pain in the arse. I have several pairs of glasses... ones for thiiiiiiiiiis, ones for thaaaaaaaaaaaaaat..... ugh. I may get that lazer surgery. I'm too young to be wearing them feckin glasses!

Rant over. Handing the *rant stick* to the next person......

I actually have a talking stick in my house... lol Works a treat... try it with the cubs...

Marning, Tips and Zenners and all still to rise from snoozleland,

Early start here, it's dark and my eyes are covered in sleepy-dust.... bleh..., Oh, tips - hope the optometrist gets your eyes back to 20/20. You wear glasses? I'm a specky-4-eyed [insert expletive here] and do like glasses... Why you not like the glasses Zennners? If I could afford it, i'd have as many pairs of glasses as I do pairs of pants and change them as the days suited.

Hiya LpC on a tablet here posting it gets some getting used to, but I did manage to download a book yesterday,not the book I wanted but a book never the less :-) :-)

Morning army sunny and dry here but getting colder. Freazin this morning. I wear glasses too which i don't like but i need them as i'm near sighted like yourself Mr Tipps. I also wear contacts on occasions but i need to renew my prescription and get my eyes tested again to see if i need a new one. I thought of laser surgery too but my left eye is a lazy eyeso i wouldn't qualify as too risky to bring both in too focas or so i was told last time. I must check again but the expense is still a bit high here.

Sounds like ur doing well, minus the unwanted book, do u have a young teenager about? they are normally a whizz with modern technology
