I for one like discussions because I learn something everytime I hear an opposing view. Some people can have lively discussion without resorting to name calling and condescending remarks, some people can't. When I first came on this site I assumed that lively discussions would be great, until I learned the hard way that people have strong feelings and I also got burned a couple of times.
It's not just about politics. It's everything, even about how to deal w alcoholism, that people have such strong opinions that now I'm afraid to post anything. Even the mildest remark I feel I will offend someone, somewhere.
But I like the fact that you have the courage to do so despite opposition from others, and I admire that...
