    Pixie has 5 months!

    Actually she has 5 months and a couple days. Congratulations Pixie! I know you've been trying a long time to find your way out and it looks like you're doing it. Well done and I can't wait to congratulate you next month on a half a year sober!

                Thanks everyone! And thanks to FlyAway for starting the shout-out (though I wasn't hinting really, it is appreciated!)

                Yep, I first signed on here in 2006, it's been a long haul of moderation attempts, periods of feck-it drinking, and very short AF stints. Something finally clicked. Or as K9 aptly summed it up - drinking became harder than not drinking.

                To anyone who is struggling, if you keep trying and you stay honest with yourself, you will get there.

                  I went back and read over some of your early posts here just to get an idea of where you came from and your early attempts. It's so great when it finally "clicks". You have been working at this a long time and I really think that this is the time for you! :goodjob:

                        I was really hoping to moderate when I initially signed on, but that is not to be. I needed to figure that out myself though - just wish the experiment didn't take that long. :hitme:
