Oh, and I found the dried apricots, Jackie. They were, as you suggested, in the home baking section. :thanks: So I might have a bash at your Daily Mail recipe tomorrow. Couldn't eat another thing today.

Went to work and also got his 'steady' girlfriend preggers ...... is was bad timing I'm afraid .... had to marry her as her Mother threw her out. It was 1973.
All worked out , he moved to OZ and had 6 kids. :shocked:
He contacted me again about 15 years ago. We still email and young Satz has also been in contact with him to see if any work in Adelaide.

How's everyone?

I am STUFFED. I cooked brunch today... with an American Chef friend... who wanted to learn how to make Lorne sausage. So we made that... then made Scotch Eggs... and fruit salad, arugula salad, blue cheese mixed with Kerrygold on crusty baguette... a cheese platter... and several small dishes. OMG... I can't move. It will take me days to get over the pig-a-thon... :yuk:
