I've just googled Lorne sausage. It just doesn't seem right, flat, square sausage.

You mix the ground meat and spices and put it in a loaf pan and stick it in the freezer to chill slightly and solidify enough to cut it into rectangles. Then ya just fry it...

It was really good actually... so were the Scotch eggs.... I have a fridge full of left over sausage... we kinda made too much! In fact, think I'll go freeze some of same......

Remember a few weeks ago I said I felt like just staying on the Army thread... with a mooch on the Step thread... well, I should have listened to myself!

In fact one of the opposition of the 16s got air ambulances off !!!!

That's me to a T! When everyone was voting I was getting prodded left right and center to go and cast my vote... and I said nope. I don't have enough belief in any party to vote for them and that is the bottom line. So, as far as politics go... THAT is my belief! They're all rank.

Off to watch the news myself. The BBC is in total crisis at the mo. Up to 300 possible sexual abuse victims of Jimmy Saville. False allegations of sexual abuse against a senior member of the Thatcher government cos apparently no-one checked out the story. Director General resigns after 8 weeks in the job with a huge payoff at the public's expense (makes me mad), etc etc. Gawd.
