I'm on the bus behind as per usual.

We had the Dog's Trust banging on the door one day asking for donations. When I said I'd already given they'd asked if how I did it. I wheeled Bess out and said she was my donation.

Gotta go and feed Mr JC. Bacinabit.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Honestly, I'm pissed right off at the breeder. I told him what's going on and he hasn't responded. My roomie is a lawyer and I'm contemplating on suing him for vet's expenses as it states in the contract that he would deliver a healthy animal. We're looking at possible thousands of dollars in vet's fees if this is an immune disorder. If it's bacterial it's no damn big deal.

I had him tested for kitty aids and leukemia yesterday and he's negative. And if it was a bad virus he would have other symptoms. So he's not a threat to Dougie thank fook.
I know it's a bit late to be saying this, but they say that whenever you get a new kitten you should always take it to the vet straight away for a (hopefully) routine checkup.

Yep... I know Reccy... you are dead right.

I actually did take him to my vet but they had upped their prices after gaining an award or summat and I got pissed and left without having him looked at. Then I had to find a new vet. But, yeah, I should have been quicker about it... I know.

He has a "30 day warranty" and I'm within that timeline... :upset:

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound critical. :l I just hope you can get it sorted out before the 30 days are up cos otherwise you'll be left with a very difficult decision.

Well.... yes and no. Really, it's kinda a moot point as I won't send him back anyway. I thought hard about it and we've already bonded so that's off the table. I'll do what I can to get the breeder to cough up the vet's bills... the contract probably means nothing... but a lawyer's letter may shake him up.

I'll need to wait anyway, to see if its bacterial or an immune disorder... and only time will tell. So the 30 days are kinda out the window at this point.

In other news.... he's a fantastic wee bloke! Full of beans, very loving and friendly. :h
