Just done with brunch and now looking at firing up a carpet cleaner we've hired from friggenpublix. I ain't doing much with it (TF)... just the rug in the kitchen and a few bits n bobs.
I have a mate that stays every Sunday... he comes here after night shift as he switches to days on Sunday and I live beside his workplace. He arrives sometimes with fixings for breakfast (sometimes I have everything we need in) and goes to bed. Then couple of hours later he gets up and we make a big feed (he's a chef also) and play cribbage. The roomie plays also and I am happy to disclose that I beat both of them right royally today! Awfully feckin civilized ya know!
Anyhoo... the two of us are cooking Thanksgiving here at mine on Thursday. We're making oyster stuffing for the turkey... some ting new! (I'm making sage, bacon and onion stuffing on the side... not doing without that!)Comment

Watching X Factor then Celeb Jungle - Jazus I used to scoff at people who watched those shows.
But that was 'cos I couldn't remember next day if it was good or bad & lost interest.
Still think they are trash but just wallowing in the fact I am SOBER on Saturday / Sunday
nights and feeing like a 'normal' person.
Will prolly wear off soon & I'll get back to Antiques Roadshow & high brow crap :H:HComment
