Struggling with chocolate and icecream fantasies today. Will try to make tomorrow's menu interesting and different to get around the cravings.

Anyone notice how scarily similar sugar cravings are to alcohol cravings?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I reckon a big percentage of alcohol craving IS sugar craving.

I have cut sugar out this quit (I KNOW chocolate blew my first quit) and this time it has been so much easier.

Lots of meat and veg and salad. I still eat too much and I actually have put on weight but I don't care as long as I don't crave booze

Ha, just had a friend ask if I'd lost weight. I saw her last 3 weeks ago. I didn't think so but she was sure I looked thinner. Must be the sugar free kick. I'll take it.

But you know, that damnid sugar is in just about every fricken pre-pared product. I hadn't had canned beans in tomatoe sauce for ages and after opening them remembered the sugar. I ate'em anyways....figured it wasn't huge in the grand scheme.

I think that's a great idea Bridge. I find blah meals or junk meals send me looking for something "extra".

I'm not perfect, never will be, but better than I was and not as good as I'm going to be.

I've thought the same thing exactly.

Which also would mean that an enormous proportion of Western society are addicts. Including kids.
            That's terrifying.

Exactly. It's little extra trouble but a good move for longevity of the plan. Boredom is the kiss of death for me and diets.

                Yes...well...Bridge...I've parted company with Atkins....bored....

Back to eating as in the first two weeks with just the no sugar/be aware attitude...

And you know re the sugar addiction = alcohol addiction...my behaviour with both is exactly the same...seek, search and destroy....

Wondering if you'll all come out to play if I leave a trail of sugar or brownie crumbs....

                  Day 3 started...

Really becoming less and less inclined toward cravings of any sort, although I must say I still have afternoon tiredness.
