The Sugar Free Challenge - Who is in??

Hey Skullbabyland... let me see if I can find the sugar free roll call? I would love to join you!
I am 4 hours short of finishing day 2 sugar free. You know I am finding this as difficult as quitting wine. Omg. This is why I didn't want to even try, but I have been eating so much chocolate and sugar it is just terrible. And not gaining weight somehow? I was reading about how you should only need to take the L-glut for a month to get off the sugar. I have been taking that stuff for MONTHS.
Lack of commitment on my part is clearly the problem.
I woke up dreaming about trying to quit the sugar.
Same dream all night long. What I also do is get up in the night and eat sweets. Embarrassing, but I admit it. It's all true.
I should weigh 400 pounds, I really should.
Misery loves company so let me see if I can find the sugar free roll call now. How many days sugar free are you?
Oh, and sugar free doesn't include natural sugars right? Like fruit? As long as I am not eating 98 bananas a day. I Love bananas... they make me feel so warm and fuzzy.

The Sugar Free Challenge - Who is in??

Hey Skull! Well I made it through Day 2 and all night without a sugary snack. ointup:
I was thinking this morning that quitting sugar is as complicated and challenging as giving up alcohol.
I think I said that yesterday? Anyhow, I have also decided that no matter how much L-Glut I take, or anything else, unless I commit to this it ain't gonna work.
Much like many things in life unless you decide to make it happen, it simply won't.

That said, here we go towards one more day!

Hey, El. This isn't the Roll Call thread. This is one DoggyGirl started a long time ago. They did a sugar free challenge. The last several pages have many links for anyone who is interested in learning about why it would be a good idea for anyone (not just AL addicts) to reduce or eliminate added sugar.
I'm so glad you've found it to help you in so many ways to get both out of your life! xx, NS

Bumping this up for Rahul and anyone else who is interested in seeing if they can feel better and for some of us, want alcohol less, by reducing sugar and sugar-producing carb intake.

                              I'm back in here, too!!
After 2 weeks of eating tons upon tons of sugar (and white bread and crackers, etc.), I'm feeling like CRAP! Did myself in already this morning, but from this moment on.....
for me, it always helps to get rid of the refined sugar, in all it's names.. as well as the super simple carbs.. cracker, white bready stuff, pasta.
I seem to do all right with limited amounts of fresh fruit and a bit of dried if I'm in a pinch..
