Questy????...wot you doing mate?Think you need to sit down and rewrite your strategy a wee bit..Include in it things to do when you feel like a drink, when he gets on yer wick, what to do when you feel crap..instead of v and t . Go on internet...you ever thought of the alcohol free shop?Sells af booze..its in Manchester....some of it is good..Ive tried it before....If you want, I along with everyone else will help you with a plan, but you have got to be determined to do it...I aint preaching..just trying to help you mate...pm if you want any time

As JC would say - I'm putting on me thinking cap and going to have a big think.
I had the same drink pattern as you Questy - and I couldn't even manage a day without al - so :goodjob: on the days you managed .
I'm trying to remember what I did.
I got so tired of it - I got the AB from Molly.
Had a drink on the Sunday - got through Monday - took the AB Tuesday and then didn't have to think about it after that 'cos I knew I couldn't. So thats it.

It took me a lot of false starts & putting it off ..... but I did it & did it my way
And so will you - THIS IS FOR YOU - it's your thing that you can do for yourself .

Questy... I'm sorry you're having a rough trot. Maybe the AB is the way to go. I didn't realize (even although I was part of the illegal smuggling of AB to Ireland!) that Satz had kicked AL in the arse so effectively with it. I know a couple of folk on the Step thread that take it (Mama and Nora... well, Mama's on our thread too...) and, well heck, maybe it's something I will think about myself. I think if it takes the choice away it will take the mind chatter with it. So I reckon you should give it a shot...
