OK? now for a Debbie Downer? Hamish reportage after his Vet visit yesterday? It turns out that his Gingivitis is due to a genetic immune disorder, it?s not bacterial. :upset: I thought the antibiotic was working as the bad breath had dissipated but it didn?t do anything for his gums? they are still extremely inflamed, in fact they?re worse. I need to decide whether to put him on lifetime immune suppressant drugs (which may or may not work) and bi-annual cleaning (whereby he?ll go under anesthetic each time) or to remove some or all of his teeth. Removing the teeth stops the problem for good and my Vet and Dougal?s breeder recommend same. I just found out yesterday though, if the front teeth are extracted his tongue will probably hang out all the time. He?s on painkillers as off yesterday? while I figure out which way to go. And while I chase the fecking breeding bastards he came from (a lovely husband and wife team by the surname of Humpage of all God forsaken effing surnames) to make them stump up for the Vets bills as I can ill afford same. I?m sad, angry and pissed the feck right off quite frankly.

If anyone has any experience with feline Gingivitis? or if by some snowball?s chance in hell there is a Vet reading this? please PM me. I?m hunting for info all over the Web today. Thanks?

Sorry? but I needed to share.

                        Hiya!

Thanks for the P PPQ... LOL

Is Kuya a Vet then? Coriander/Beagle is a Vet (she's an Undie) and she knows what's going on with Hamish as off two weeks ago, but I haven't had an email back from her lately so not sure what's what. She has a hard time accessing her internet. In fact I was supposed to pass a message two weeks ago that she's fine and can't get online. I got distracted with the kitty and the HUMPAGES. Gawd, what a name.

So message from Cori... "I am fine and missing yous" )

Now THERE'S a thought. Mr Humpage's balls on me beanie. Jacks... if you haven't already made it, can you do mine in blue please... I think it would set his balls off nicely. It's the interior designer in me ya know.

He feeds fine Questy... he's put on 2lbs since I got him. He was as skinny as a rake and I could feel his ribs. Now he's got a bit of "meat on his bones" :h
