Busy first day of Chrissy month. Made a feast for some friends tonight. Finished it off with Apple pie and some sleepytime tea. See you all tomorrow. I'm up at 5 to get ready for work.

What's everyone up to? Are you northern folk still sweltering? Really pleasant here, nice and inspiring. The metal man has bin and collected and I'm feeling most virtuous about my clean-up effort. Now to fill the 8 cu.mt skip with general, non-metal, shit and Bob's yer uncle.

After that stunning feat is accomplished, I might attend to some grown-up business like appointing someone to look after my non-existent shit once I've popped my clogs. Might even bite the bullet and make a Will. Yikes!

Been a hot one here but nice breeze since lunchtime trying to cool it down...we now have all the chooks in the rejigged chook run and after a week together they're getting along...day sorting out new gutter on the decks roof and various veggie patch related duties....all nice and ordinary and just good...with the locusts on holidays now its a very relaxed place...

I won't be looking for your R Dalton stuff on eBay, I can tell you that. Gave an pristine, antique nativity scene to our local thrift store last year--they were ecstatic. So was I. 15 boxes of the stuff--gone, and good riddance. 10 boxes or more left.

On a December cheery note just resurrected the Christmas tree with Regina and have spent the afternoon making it into the most amazing thing ...Reginas Nanna who is quite religious last Chrissy gave her a get this .."ROYAL DALTON NATIVITY SET " for FFS I was scared to lift it and to boot you can wind the crib with baby jesus in it and it plays silent night amazingly unreal Was contemplating when Reginas over the Christmas thing (which she already is unless Liam from 'One direction' is santa) ..it will be on Ebay for the highest Bidder ..Any Ideas on the add ..I was thinking along the lines of " Royal Dalton Nativity Set in pristine chapel condition .wind the cradle up and it plays silent night" Happy bidding ..no pick up ..too delicate!!! what ya reckon?
