        Fill me in on this TF....
        Oma seems to be Grandma for Germanic folk. Opa for Dutch Grandpas??? . But where does Baba come in? Is it wise woman? Or a generalised respect title?

        I've just managed to find a load of Dutch and German folk for friends, and even luckier taste their food:h

          Bridge - I only know Oma and Opa from a german perspective. Maybe they're the same for the dutch. I don't know Baba at all.

            I can tell you Macedonian folk call their granny Baba.

            Not sure of it's origin though.
