      Hiya kids,

Lily, sounds like a lovely time being spent with your grand kiddies.
TF, personally I would have bought a new home stereo sound system.

Well, long day at work had. Another early start tomorrow. Looking forward to Friday because our street has their annual Christmas party. It's actually only a number of houses around us, but it's the first year we're invited. Little Leon loves being social. Made some home made soy nog. Didn't turn out as well as my last batch. Also holiday menu in the works: definitely going to make pumpkin gingerbread trifle. Other possibilities include individual potato sage bakes, quinoa tricolor salad, tofu lettuce wraps, and possibly baked onion rings. I don't know yet though, we'll see.

          Morning Undies,

Well, we had a most spec.tac.u.lar sunset last night followed by a most amzing display of thunder and lightning during the early hours. I thought they maybe got the date wrong and it was all over red rover but crikey ... I woke up to live another day.

            Morning all,

Don't worry TF, that sunset's got 'the end' written all over it.

Great to hear from you and Leon, Sunny. I bet the young fella will be a hit with everyone at your party, especially the ladies!

Right. Place yer bets everyone.....Ya might make a quick buck.

Ha! It worked...I didn't want to spend forever writing only to realise I'd forgotten my password.
Hi all, it's been aaaaaages since I was around...it's me, Grinder. New name new attitude.
Anyway, I've had quite a year...was diagnosed with breat cancer in early May (still don't want to even say it, like that makes it real ya know?) had a mastectomy & spent most of the year sporting a stunt boob. Was very lucky as I didn't need chemo or radiotherapy. Then in Oct had a reconstruction so I'm back to 2 boobs & feeling much better. I have the all clear but the doomsday monkey of cancer is really hard to shake, the bugger.
However, I haven't used the experience as I should be, bettering my lifestyle etc...actually it just majorly stressed me out & I turned to old habits...not good.
So I've come home to hop on the Undie perch.
I've missed youse & look forward to getting to know youse that I don't know very well.
Carn, lets have a huggle ooooooo.
Gotta go to work now, will drop back in this evening.

Bloody hell, Techie - that's terrible. Something happening to my eyes is probably my greatest fear. I so hope something can be done for you. How is the vision in your other eye? (Assuming you can read ...)

Great to see you but shist ... haven't you been through the mill? Stoked that you've got the all-clear. Jump right back in the drawer and we'll do all we can to straighten you out ... well, we can get you sort of straightish ...

WTF with the diagnosis! You should have come straight back here and let us love you up!!!!!!

                            Anyway this is bloody perfect:
We have a new year coming up. I personally am going hell hard on the health and wellbeing side this year. Recent decision.

We can be total purist pains in the arse together......
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Angel!!! So good to see you, but gee, what a bad year you've had :-(

techie, similarly. I have a fear of something going wrong with my eyes too. Glaucoma runs in my family and the whole detached retina thing is pretty scary.

                                Gorgeous photo TF!

I've just sent off the last thing I had to send off this year. One more interview to complete tomorrow (and my bombsite of a desk to clean!!) and then I'm on holiday!!!

A swim planned for this afternoon methinks!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
