    Santa's Little Underoos

Thanks G - I'm watching/listening to Johnny Clegg on SBS at the mo. Very interesting Saffa stuff, great backing vocalists. ***waving to Chromie***

      It's called the "Shit - it's Winter, let's have a Beer" celebration.
I'm afraid I had exactly the same thought:H

I'm having the most delightful day just pottering Undies. It took me a long time to have a cooking afternoon without a glass of red, but it's much more fun being creative without the piss.

      Where is everybody?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Couple of thoughts....fusk its hot...and yes, middle of winter, cooking mulled wine springs to mind...shitfaced by 11.00am...

Short people throwing things into cars, first outing I had with the big locust as a baby, couldnt find the clip thingy to fold down the expensive Italian pram bought as a gift from work, ended up throwing the whole thing in the back and jamming the boot down with a hocky strap...

Creative without the piss for me Bridge = remembering what I actually cooked and how it tasted...

Nearly finished work and shoving down some leftover pesto pasta as we speak....lemon cheesecake just coming out of the oven...

        Breathing...now...

I'll ring Chris in Africa and see if he can send one over for you TF.

I have 2 left over. I'm giving one to my mate Paul for Chrissy. I'll tell him to store his intimates in it. Before or after removing the Shukas?

I want one I want one I want one. In the nursery section?

I was in Bunnings yesty and there was a dad taking his two little girls round. I said how wonderful to see and maybe they might grow up to be a cabinet maker and a sparky.

I don't like the sausage sangas. So Mr Rags made me a peanut butter and lettuce sandwich when we got home.

OK ... that all took a bit of doing.

Soooo ... at last month's market, I bought this beautiful laser-cut 3 panel metal fire screen, new in box, for $49.

Quite by accident, I stumble across the same fusking thing on ebay for ... wait for it ... $149.95

            G'day Wally,

Yes. In my part of Australia we have winter solstice on june 21. Basically it's a pagan ritual which involves throwing some christians to the bears. Koala bears. Sure, there are some nicks and cuts, but everyone has a great time. The bears are constantly monitored by local animal welfare authorities, St. Johns ambulance are in attendance relentlessly every year, and there are plenty of hot drinks, and sandwiches available courtesy of the C.W.A.

We've had christians converting to paganism. We've had pagans converting to christianity. It's all win/win, and a great family day out. The smiles on the kiddies faces says it all.

            Merry christmas.
Oh Mr G. That was so funny. I laughed till my tummy hurt.

I bought some calamari rings along with the prawns and oysters today. I might make some a la Happs. I was going to panko them in any case.

Just heard from Sunny, she's at the hospital with Leon. Bronchial thing. So lots of good energy and thoughts needed for our new mum and her little one.

                    Hiya Raggsy!

I say, Undies, do any of you have a phone # for Techie? He's been gone a tad too long and in light of his last message, I'm wondering if he's ok. If you've got a number, could you give him a buzz maybe?

Rags, the panel was out the front...they had other colours and cut outs too...and fried the calamari in rice bran oil - first time we've used it - it was excellent...

                            Hi Undies,

Real quick one and would look it up myself but flat out like a lizard as you guys would say. I misplaced Techie's number but I have his contact info and I reckon one can Google it and find his number from that. I'm going to PM it to Tawny. He is fine I am sure... but he would love a call from an Undie I bet!!! *wink*

Oh and while I'm at it... Gawd... Coriander said to tell you all that her internet has been awful and she can't get online. Sorry. I haven't been good at keeping numbers and passing on messages lately! When you talk to her, tell her I hope the dog got preggers!

Have a bloody fantastic 2013..... :l:l:l Will PM you Tawny...

I use rice bran oil a lot. And avocado oil.

Our Bunnings didn't have any last Sunday when we were there. But I got a dibbler (not the cut me own throat kind for Terry Pratchett fans) on a long stick so I don't cripple my back with fine weeding.

I haven't got a number for Techie unfortunately.

Tawny, sorry you'll be missing out on the family get together tomorrow.

                              Hi Leon, you'll be OK.
