Glad you had good old fashioned fayre like us Reg. It's just unreal. Not as good as tomato and onion sambos in silence, but pretty good.

Christmas a.m. here, and hubs suprised me with a set of Bang/Olufsen earbuds.

Reg> I love the Who, too, and now I can listen to them as loudly as I want. Going deaf anyway, so what difference does it make how loud it is on my phone? Genetics, and loud rock and roll early on have doomed me, so may as well go out rockin'.

G> Rest is the best for recovery. Take it easy. Sickness is rampant in my part of USA. My husband's doctor is not seeing healthy people at the moment, only the sick ones.

Well, what a lovely read back. It seems that everybody had a wonderful time, not a drunk uncle in sight. Just as it should be. I think we'll probably all operate at half speed now until the new year. Just as it should be.

Speaking of drunk uncles (well, non drunk), one of my nephews and i were the only ones not drinking booze at dinner last sundee. Let me qualify that. It appears my nephews and neice are allowed a small glass of wine at family do's. I was wrapt to hear the young bloke (17 next year) declare 2013 would be an AF year for him. It was funny how the restaraunt spotlights seemed to shine on me and everyone seemed to go quiet when i firmly declared my approval and support with a thumbs up and a 'good one mate, we don't need it to have fun'.

Sweating it out a bit here overnight, and feel better this morning. I can't complain. It seems you have transplant issues with your cornea Techie? Don't stress on the posting. Just as long as we somehow know how you're going.

This might be me first BOXING DAY SALE! Wow. I've probably missed all the specials already. Do i need full body armour?

Wishing Leon a speedy recovery Sunny. Hope he's not stressing too much.

Personally I would rather have my kidneys harvested than go to the sales today.

Half speed sounds like the go Ms Frog. I am going to support that concept by planting myself on the lounge and remaining inert for the day.

Mr Happs just back from dipping his toe in the Boxing day sales frenzy...he bought himself a microscopic tablet...now trying to work out how to use it with his big mitts...cricket on but its amazing how easy it is to zone out...

Morning spent in the garden...Prick possums not content with eating a bite out of each of my tomatoes, have now turned their attention to my melons...this is war....and Bridge? why do I have stacks of healthy leaves and flowers on zucchinni, squash etc but nothing else?

Afternoon Undies,
Had a good time at Mr Rags' relos Christmas lunch.
Have been stuffing ourselves with prawns, Happs calamari, ham, Mr Rags made prawn and avocado retro prawn cocktail... used oakleaf instead of iceberg lettuce so not completely authentic.

Lunch was flathead tails and calamari in panko crumbs and tonight will be BBQ chook and chipolatas and lots of salad. Burp.

I've never ever been to a boxing day sale.

We've been getting some lovely rain here. Mr Rags got a couple of leeches on him about an hour ago.

Spa cleaned and topped up ready for us to take a dip in an hour or so.

Watched part of the Mikado on tele as Paul is teaching me how to sync my phone to my laptop which is plugged into the TV... brain drain stuff.

Didn't watch start of Syd - Hobart race. They're probably abeam our place about now. Or well past it.
