      Morning Saucy and doodyheads,

Sounds good Happs. I for one, me, am feeling a lot better after 2 deliberately chilled days sitting on me arse watching movies, eating garlic and fruit and doing bugger all. I have nowhere to be until jan 8, no gigs, rehearsals, commit....commi.....comm.....co....co.....committm ents of any sort. Bliss. I need the downtime and am lapping it up. Mind body and soul slowly recharging for the 'must save universe' (and meself...hehe) gig ahead in 2013.

Quarter speed ahead, to nowhere in particular, a place often as inspiring and interesting as the cheap seats.

How are you Cozza? Wishing you all the very best friend, if you're reading. There is a fair bit of energy floating around at the beginning of a new year. Lot's of possibilities.

What's on today at chez Jones, Bridget?

      Wishing everyone a maaarvellous day.

Morning Happs & Mr.G and wombats still to rise,

Well ... having successfully avoided the Christmas mania, had a phone call the other day ...

        "What are you doing tomorrow?"
        "Busy tomorrow", I lied.
        "What about Friday?"
"Nah. Friday's no good", I lied.
        "What about Saturday?"
"Erm ... yeah, that looks ok ..." I said, having filled up my lies bag.
"Good. We'll come for lunch. We'll bring a course"

Now WTF does that mean? Gimme something to work with, people ...

          Good morning Undies,

Looks like you've all had a beaut Christmas (except for Happs' lemon cheesecake).

Just taken Paul to station to get train back to Sinny with a bag full of leftover food. Enough to keep him goig for a week. Tawn, want me to send some down to you for your guests?
We are packing a heap of plants and the sleepers I sanded and cabothaned for the seats we're going to put up in the little dell at Wingello. We're heading over there in about an hour.
Be back evening of the 30th. Will put up piccies when I get back, but I really don't like the new improved photobucket and find it very time consuming.

Had lovely scrambled eggs courtesy of the girls next door . Mr Rags went to Woolies yesty and bought some corn for them.

I have learnt how to download movies from my phone Happs. I needed to download a whole new program (VLC media player) as windows media player wouldn't work it. Also learnt how to plug computer into tv then wifi my phone to it so I can use phone as a mouse. We now have to figure out how to get sound out of the hi fi... Mr Rags thinks that will be some analogue cably thingo to bypass the whatsit. And I now have some pirate programme to download movies etc. He is a talented and very patient friend.

OK off to feed the girls their corn, then away to Wingello.
Next week will be full steam weeding my neglected garden and getting some seasol to the plants.

Bridge, do retrievers leave as much hair on the bed as cats do fur?

See you in a few days.

Honestly, you have no idea. Especially when they live in a warm climate, they shed constantly. I vacuum every day

                  Just reading back a bit.
                  Re Zucchinis, Happs.
I've got the same thing going on here, and I'm going to throw some Potash on the garden cos I reckon there's a bit of a potassium deficiency or imbalance which is not uncommon with veges. Always good to throw on a bit of potash at the beginning of the season but I forgot.

They're obviously good for nitrogen because the leaves are huge, so I might trim off a few of the bigger leaves and let the sun get down in there. Strange because that raised bed is new with imported soil (veg mix) so bit disappointed with the nutrient mix there.

                  Does that make sense?

Hope you get your zukes sorted, girls, because Stephanie's Bread & Butter Zucchini pickles are a ripper. I've literally made gallons of this stuff in the past.
