I've had my cranky pants on over work...then I was thinking of Mr B doing shift work and remembering a really shitty shift job I had back when middle locust was 2 months old...used to start at 10pm work until 7am...come home feed him...and do stuff with eldest who was 2....bloody hideous...so I'm slipping of the crankies and thinking of ways to be positive
and I'm also thinking about Sunny and Leon and just putting this out there :l for you Sunnygirl...

Have woken this morning with the certain knowledge that i need to take a concrete pill to harden up. I dont sleep at all well when Mr B isnt here. On the upside, I got up at 5 am and cleaned the house!

Well who was the little smart arse who stayed up until 11pm last night against regulations and is now a cranky little B ?
Missy, I've done a lot of maintenance type stuff on the house lately. I'm just finding that very few tradies are actually good tradespeople, except for sticking their bloody hands out for payment of course. I find I have to ride them to do the job properly (again, not in the good way) and it's exhausting. I am very fussy when it comes to my house admittedly, but sometimes I get the impression that they think I'm a dumb arse woman and I won't know the difference. Wrong!
For example I had the new car detailed inside because they were smokers (never again) and he didn't even clean out the ash tray. For the love of.......
Ok...rant over....resume normal programming.....If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Yep, it's hard to find good help these days, as yer American gangster would say. Get on their backs for sure. Hope the reno's work out how you wish in the end, and no reason why they won't.

Had cause to ring the Rehab Section of hospital yesterday.

Her: Hang on- I've just got to find a sheet of paper ...
I wanted to take that sheet of paper, once found, and fold it into an elegant origami crane and stick it up her left nostril. A receptionist has to find a sheet of paper so she can write down a fusking message? She's lucky Nicey or Missy aren't at her control desk.
