      it is hot Happy, I seen that about the eggs on the news last night... there is some fires happening near us, just now, thankfully the firefighters have it under control, but the smoke gets to you a bit...

            Jeez there are a few worrying fires going on out there.
            We've actually got a pleasantly cool evening here and I've got the snuggle bunnies on.
            Leon is such a happy little dude.
            I really hope a few of us have a lot less worry next year folks.

            Won't be repeating last night's effort. I'm off to bed early tonight.

              You can make an anonymous complaint to worksafe you know, but, if you are naming someone and wish to take it further, you will need to reveal yourself, so to speak.

                  NNicey, I was thinking about the harassment issue. There has been quite a bit of public debate here about the mine disaster here, where 29 people were killed. It was widely acknowledged in the community that the mine was unsafe, but no-one said anything. I'm doing some work on workplace culture at the moment - and one of the things that comes through loud and clear is that the NZ/Oz culture of "she'll be right" results in us putting up with a whole lot of stuff that we shouldn't.

                        I see we've lost Dame Elizabeth overnight as well.
                        What a sad day, but talk about some lives to celebrate. People like that inspire us to be better people ourselves. I'm sure of it.

                        Time to scrub this little hobbit house, and restock the larder with comestibles.
