Oh my.....the earth is off kilter I'm afraid.
So many of us not feeling the lurve!!!
I think origami cranes are a brilliant idea Tawny. I'll start on a batch now and hopefully get some to everyone by little lunch.
What is it? The time of year? Have we all had enough? Have we had too much sugar? Not enough sugar? Too hot? Too cold? Not enough good sleep? Too much rich food? Not enough exercise? Life work balance out of whack? Just rhetoric......
For me, I've had enough of everyone who gets up my nose on a regular basis! In my job I have to be 'on' a lot and of course the professional corporate image is a must - mostly! I can usually just get on with it but right now.... The hair yanker (only one of the many annoying people) isn't in at all today, he is attending a leadership conference! Yeeehaaww!! Yesterday, I overdosed on nurofen-plus because of my back, and made myself quite sick so had to go home at around 3pm. Once there I slept for a little bit then FH comes home and tells me that when I'm down for the count it doesn't endear me to him!!! WHAT?????? I rarely hit the deck - VERY rarely!!! I went nuts - very quietly which made him even more less endeared because it 'worries' him when I am 'quietly crazy/mental'. Suffice to say, I hope he has a 'wonderful' day!!
Big sigh.....
Mr G - you are so right but I know I won't do anything about it. I just make sure noone else is in the firing line when he goes for the hair pull. I don't get how people think it is ok to behave badly in the work place. I'd be terrified to be so visible and put on displays like that. Actually I'd be ashamed!
My dairy has had a meeting in it most every day for the last 2 weeks. I've pointed out that the actual meeting took place last Tuesday and ratification of the results happened via email on Thursday. It was in there for 3pm Monday, 2pm yesterday and NOW 3-5pm TODAY. WHAT?????? How hard is it to keep track of a diary when you are fed ALL the information you need to make sure it is right??? I know this is petty - thank dog I'm not a check out chick or dealing, eye to eye with the public because I'd be sacked in a heartbeat.
Bridge - I hear you!!! When we were moving it was a pretty hot day so I went and bought the removalists an ice-block. Was I surprised when I watched them throw the wrappers on the stairway?? Yep - I WAS!! One good story about tradies - on Monday it was Tradies Picnic day. The roads to and from work were empty!
I need a big sniff of little Leon to set me right me thinks.
So..........onwards fellow travellers, onwards!
Love yous all!!!
