        No. It's the entire country.
        Poor little Arfur.

Nice reportage Undies. Good to get the low down.
News on this block is that there is a burgeoning romance for the boy. I knew immediately when he began waking up on time for school and busting his guts to get in early, that there was something seriously amiss.
Several hormonally loaded outbursts have ensued, the last ending in 'I hate you, I wish you'd just die' and 'You just piss me off Mum, you make me really angry', for which he was grounded. I am deliberately and stubornly not going to die now. Ever. Just to piss him off.

Then he gives his very expensive school jacket to this bimbo who promptly loses it in the special ed room. Don't know what she was doing in the special ed room, as she is not special. And he better not have been in there with her, doing anything even remotely special.

I'd like to say I wish the special bimbo would get rooted, but somehow I think I know who wants to root her and this could backfire on me.

Reading through your post Nicey...Here's my Christmas tree. Bought it last week. Love your idea of cooking Xhristmas cakes. Too late for me to start this year, but next year I'll be doing that. I did Christmas puds a while back...they were tres pop you lar.

Tawn, it felt like I was doing a Raggsy... I've been flat out over at Wingello... seeding some bare areas left by the bobcat and backhoe work, plus planting out shitloads of plants so that kangas and rabbits can eat them before I get netting round them.. gggrrrrr.
Am going there Thurs to start cutting sleepers for a bush table and seats in the section I'm naming Waratah Flat.... then going to a girls night out (with a few of the locals).
And and and Mr Rags and I are going to join the local RFS... as if we have the bloody time. But they've lent me their star picket lifter outerer for a month or so so we can clear some of the old fencing... and use said pickets as stakes for netting round plants. The "gardens" look like plant stalags.

A bit zorsted here ..... too many people wanting stuff finished before Xmas. When the reason it is late is that they farted around about 4 weeks ago, when I was warning that if they did, we would be hard pressed to get the work finished before Xmas. But there are a couple of things that I roolly rolly dont want to be working on in JAnuary because the clients are buggers to dea with - I only want to deal with nice people in 2013!!

But lovely posts, I've really enjoyed reading them. Wish I could respond to each and every one.

Raggsy, the town with the enormous corrugated iron sheep is Putaruru! I have a feeling I've seen those mats in Xmas shops here in Wellington, so if I do I'll make a note of who they are made by.

I'm trying to organise my new life. I know I could look this up, but how do I get a tax number in Australia?? And can someone direct me to an easy explanation of what medi-care is and how it works? I had been thinking that I would continue to stay registered in the NZ medical system (mainly because I have such a fantastic GP) but I have had advice that there are new rules around that and that what system you are supposed to be enrolled in is dependent on your tax-residence status. But I'll be a wage-earner in Oz, but still have assets and tax liabilty in NZ. It is all very confusing and at the moment I want to put my head in the sand and ignore it all!!
