My dilemma over whether to seek or rent my house has been resolved - one of my most beloved foster daughters is coming back from Perth with her 7 year old boy (if you have been an Undie for that long - far out, have we been going for that long?????!!!! - this is the one that lived with me while she was pregnant, and until baby was 6 months old. Baby's dad was killed in a car accident three years ago)

So she is going to take over the house, and her boy says that he feels that he belongs here The local school is about 60m away. I know the school well and he will be loved and treasured there. And the cats can stay and so can Mr B until we have our Sydney situation sorted!

It sort of feels how you described your move and your new neighbourhood Mr G
Nice Missy. I remember you speaking of your foster daughter. Great stuff. :h

(hope dem Mayans aren't as smart as i think they are)

And where's that bloke from the last worlds end profecy a year or 2 ago? I think he was a pommy and he had yer sandwich board look going on. He stuffed it up didn't he? Wonder if he's cashing in this time around? Maybe once bitten twice shy. At least he could have a crack. There must be some sort of angle he can find to occupy these next few days with.

Bring him back and give him another chance, i say.

You're probably right. Give him another go i say, though he might be benefitting from some well earned rest.

Today is the last day this year that I'm getting up at this time to go to work. I feel like a zombie already. If the world is going to end, I hope it does so while I'm sleeping in. And if it happens here first I'l be sure to send you a warning post. That is, if zombies can still use computers :H

I imagine Andre,P. will be getting a guernsey? Then it'll be Doobie brothers, doobie brothers, Peter Green, Doobies, Uncle Jimmy, Doobies, etc, etc............

Morning Missy and all to have a crack.

Tell em all to get rooted Missy. Yer closing shop for the holidays!

Still warm here. 35c today. We have a big xmas party, and i'm chauffering a couple of great characters. One's an older bloke, alky, storyteller, artist (bulldust and otherwise), grumpy bugga who has no qualms in telling someone jumping a queue, or for no particular reason to 'F - orf!', has run over my foot with his walker on 2 occassions and laughs about it, whilst i yell....'Compo!' He is another workers client from our older persons program that i'm working with whilst she's on leave. We get on well, and he's a delight. But he keeps me on me toes.

Have a beeewdy out there folk's. Ooroo!

Off to biggish little town to drop Bloke into day physio whilst I hoon around in search of fresh local Central Vic seafood which I shall devour right up to the moment of clog poppage on the 20th.
