ROTFLMBO K9 - as I said - I will stick with Hubs....... he isn't as good looking as whats-his-face but hubs loves me anyway - warts and all !!!!! (but he was in the day !!!)How simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....Comment

I have never swooned over famous people. My own hubby is cute and sweet and smart, that is why I married him 32 years ago this week.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.Comment

Hey Sun - you and your hubs are two years ahead of me and my hubs (or is it one year? - can't remember - need to ask hubs - LOL). And K9 - mine is a pain in the rear but you can't have him 'cos he is MY pain in the rear - really sweet, BUT maddening when he wants to be !!!!! I cannot imagine my life without him.... really I can't !!!

I think you should post here more. Is our exact date the 20th or 21st, I forget, gotta look it up. Hubs is far from perfect, but I'll keep him. Country ham it is, with fried potatoes, home-canned green beans, home-canned corn, and winter tomato salad. Beet pickles on the side. Dessert will be warm gingerbread with whipped cream. Iced tea or water for drinks. That was a frequent meal when I was growing up.
If you prefer, I can do my German background: pork roast, saurekraut and mashed potatoes. God, I love that meal. Must have been cabbage somewhere in there...?
Now for salivating over men....can anyone bring Paul Newman back? What an absolute hunk. I'm not that old, really, but there was something about him that appealed to me, me even as a young girl.

Had a stressful day. So tired of money problems. Sometimes I just can't see my way out of it. Oh well - that's life. Anyway, we had a nice dinner together - the 3 of us. Now I'm just chilling. Actuallly going to head to bed. Did not sleep well last night.

Heading to be too. So mad I am getting sick. Of course I would..tomorrow is the last day before winter break. When school ended in June I was so sick and in bed for almost a week. It's like my body gives up when it knows I am going to be off. Survived another night out with co-workers. Had coffee and water with lemon. Others followed after their one glass of wine. If it was me I would have been ordering glass number 2 & 3 rather than water like they did. Have a great night everyone.
