One Step at a Time - December 2012
Hello Everyone,
I hope we all had a good holiday, mine was great after the hustle and bustle was over and it was time to enjoy the company of family and friends. I'm sorry you had to spend the day in bed Nora and hope you feel much, much better tomorrow. I too am grateful for everyone here on this thread and site. I had 4 months sober in 2010 when I joined, 7 months in 2011, and only drank 3 times since I jumped back on the wagon January of 2012. One step, one day at a time. Thanks everyone.2023 - focus, getting it done, and living the way it should be and being the person I need to be.

Merry Belated Christmas everyone. It seems I never have time lately except after midnight to have time to myself to come here.
I agree Juja it was absolutely wonderful to experience Christmas Eve and Christmas without a hangover. I was surprised that it was not hard to abstain. It was really one of the best Christmas' my family has had in many, many years because of the absence of al. There was a little hic up on X-mas Eve but it was my sister-in-law and not me that made the drama. So happy for that!
Hope you feel better Nora. That was me last week. Allswell I liked reading your progress. That gives me more hope. I managed 5 complete months af this year and lots of other 2 weeks here and there with some being not af at all. But when I look back over the year it was way better than any years in the past. MWO and everyone helped me with that. So hopefully I will be like you with even more af months in 2013. I feel pretty proud of myself for getting through Christmas af. I would have never thought I could a month ago. Thanks to all who are here.
