My flatmate has just asked me "Hey, were you drunk last night?"
I can't remember seeing him.
I said yes I was.
Ever get the feeling peeps are thinking things about you that you think about yourself, but don't let on to anyone and hope they can's see? That you hiv a problem?
Hmmm...
Slightly mortified.
There aren't enough fingers and toes on the both of us to count up the number of times, RC. Today's encouragement and yesterday's are with you in mind, friend. :l

We all feel each others struggles. Me thinks RC has some internal wars to be fought and won...don't we all? There is something standing in his way. I can feel it.
I'm doing alright. I'm a bit cranky today, but it will pass. Just a bit too much stimulation around here this morning. I've kicked them all out now. :H They can return when I stomp out my grumpy feeling. Maybe I ate too many of those darn Christmas cookies I made. RATS!
I caught a small part of your current worry. You know us moms can't stop caring ever, but we don't have a lot of control over what occurs in our children's lives. You can just be there to give them love, but don't try to carry too much of that load. We all know where that can take us. The weight of the world...

Omg I've had a feckin internal alcoholic war raging for the last hour and half !!!!
Went out to do a bit of Xmas shopping but had to come home early due to the monthly from hell !!! (Change of clothes - ladies you know the score ?!?!)
So, came home and sat down to do a bit of work but I was so not in the mood !!!!
Then the voices started : I was hungry, mega angry and very tired - and I just wanted a drink !
Hubs made chicken korma for tea, but in my mind I wasn't going to eat it - I wanted a drink. After all, the injustice of it all - me having to work, everyone else chillin out - in fact I'm still a bit pissed off.
Anyway, had a couple of mouth fulls, but I wasn't going to finish it. I wanted a drink. Even asked hubs if he would join me in a couple to which he said he wasn't that bothered - omg talk about internal turmoil !!!
So, I finished me tea, and I'm just having ice cream. Don't ask me if I'm happy about it, cos I'm still angry, tired and pissed off. But I'm sober.
Just thought I'd share. I could still cry. I feel like someone's got their hands round me windpipe and they keep squeezing it tight. FFs I wish this would just fuck off and leave me alone.Trying again from 22nd September 2014 Keeping it simple. Keeping it real.

I know the way I was feeling today would ALWAYS have caused me to drink in the past, and I had to resort to 'tricks of the trade' that I haven't had to use for a long time. The main 'trick' today was 'I will not drink NO MATTER WHAT' --- sounds simple, but it just takes drink out of the equation, a lot of this is mindgames - alcohol has been playing tricks with us since forever, so time for us to use a few tricks of our own.
Get into your jammies and put your feet up and just do something that appeals - be it stupid television, read the newspaper, eat ice-cream - just something that distracts you. I think you're great:l:l:l
I'm gonna pinch meself to see if its really me lol !!
And without you molls, and the rest of the troops, I wouldn't have had the strength to battle the monkey on me back.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you xxTrying again from 22nd September 2014 Keeping it simple. Keeping it real.
