    I recently tried SlimQuick because I didn't feel like working out. LOL It did NOTHING...except rob me of $34.99. I wouldn't suggest any of these fad pills or diets. Healthy eating/exercise is the only thing that works in the long run. I'm jealous you ONLY have 10 pounds to go! Want to trade? LOL

      I heard all these fads and Dr. Oz recommended raspberry ketones. Read good reviews on it.
      I'm exercising, eating right, not drinking. But those 10 lbs won't budge!!!

      So is your exercise equipment still in the garage? Maybe move it to a spot that will make you guilty looking at it! Lol!

      You never told us how much you want to lose but looking at your pictures, it can't be more than 2 pounds, so yes,let's trade!!!

        Well, I FINALLY have a number...I lost 6lbs by eating healthy and exercising. I have more to go but it's a start!

          So doing WW and weighed in today. I am happy to report that I am down another 2 pounds! New goal is 17 pounds!!! I hope to be continuing this trend! I am graduating in May and I want to be smokin' hot! Haha! When I reach my goal I will be at the high end of the healthy/normal weight range for my height. I am okay with this because I have a large bone structure and a lot of muscle. There was one point in my life when I weighed 153. I wasn't healthy at that weight, ended up in the hospital because of malnutrition. I am so proud of myself for the changes I've made in my lifestyle!

            As far as diet pills etc.: I have taken these in the past in my attempts to lose weight. I always found that pills or fad diets had some weight loss but it wasn't something that could be continued long term and as soon as I got off I gained all the lost weight back plus some! I say eat lots of micronutrients (veggies and fruits) healthy grains, and minimum amounts of high quality lean protein (if you choose to consume meat), and limit the amount of dairy products. Eat well and couple this with exercise. Try making weight loss part of a lifestyle change rather than a 'diet'. Just as we had to recreate our lives after we stopped AL if you want to be at a healthy weight you have to make eating good food and physical exercise a part of your life and personal image!

                i think riding my stationary bike aint cutting it,im gonna try the zumba on wii,my fat is the kind that has to be jiggled off i guess

                Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

                  Pauly: I'm no expert on all this workout. My suspicion is that like diets, we have to vary our diets to keep losing weight. Workout is probably the same. I do treadmill but getting minimal results so maybe I need to add strength training.

                  Zumba would be fun. I want to try that but I feel self conscious to go by myself. Wish I had a friend to go w me.

                    Ally- try to find an aqua zumba class to go to. Your body is hidden from view as you're jiggling and shaking! It is great! You just have to make it into the pool, and then by the time you are finished with the workout you don't really care! Haha! Seriously try it! It is addictive! They don't have it listed on WW though, which I think is a total bummer.

                            Hey Pauly - thanks for the well wishes, and WAY to GO K9! I also heard that changing things up seems to work once you get stuck. There's something about "surprising" your muscles with new routines that a friend who's a trainer swears by. I used to lift weights 3 times a week, but would warm up on the treadmill for 30 minutes. She told me to do a brief 10 minute warm up, then 20 minutes of weights, another 15 minutes treadmill, finish up with 20 minutes of weights, then last segment of treadmill. 15 weights, etc. We burn more walking if we do it right after lifting -- More bang-for-the-buck apparently.

                            Does anyone use raw apple cider vinegar? I've been drinking a glass of warm water with honey and 2 tsp. of ACV every night and I just LOVE it now (hated it at first), but am wondering if it actually helps with weight loss. I know there are other health benefits, but heard the connection with weight loss somewhere.

                              Way to go LastStraw, ElliesMom and K9 with your weight loss! I've added one pound, so now I've got 14 to go!
                              I rejoined WW online last night, so I'm hoping this will help. Can't get to the gym as I'm busy being caregiver to not only my family, but to in-laws and babysitting 11 month old Grandson. Feel really stretched at the moment.

                              Hoping I find time to track my eating and take the time to prepare more salads.....sometimes I'm so short of time, I'm just grabbing a sandwich, .....always the fastest and easiest.
