    3-25-13: Lost 15.5 lbs


    Ann - I did Weight Watchers years ago...basically it's just counting calories. 1 Point = 50 calories and then you figure out how many points to eat each day. I'm basically doing that right now. I have to admit I am being a bit obsessive (imagine an alkie obsessing over something? LOL) I weigh, measure, count EVERY dang thing I eat. I write down how many calories I burn. Now if only I could use these organizational skills for something useful....like my job. HA

      My gosh! Everyone is doing great! And wow k9, congrats!

      I ate lots of sweets tonight feeling guilty. Now on treadmill trying to burn off those calories.

      Pauly: your bike is suffering because you've been using it a lot, that's a good sign.

      I finally got a new fitbit scale and got it hooked up right. I love it.

      Just can't seem to lose that last 10-13 lbs!!!

          Miss K9, I'm inspired by your success! I have an event in August to attend, and 20 lbs. to leave behind (no pun intended). My AF way of life should help. Great job!

                  Hi, it's play checking in after a very long absence, lots of ups and downs. I had 25 pounds to lose, have now lost 6 and hope it continues. I've done it I guess from beling AF during the week and only having any alcohol on weekends. This has helped keep my appetite down in the evenings and cut out a lot of AL calories as well.

                  Everybody sounds great, keep on with the good numbers. I'll keep checking in.

                        Hello,

                        It certainly has been some time! I have been up and down with my weight and my drinking. I try to keep the drinking on the weekend only. For the next few weeks I will go for some AF time. See if i can get some weight off. It seems like I am good for the week, then gain on the weekend then spend the rest of the week getting it back off, blah, blah, blah!

                        I am down a total of 24.2lbs

                          I hear ya...sometimes I feel like I am losing the same 2-3 pounds over and over again....geesh!

                          Congrats on 24 lbs...that's great! I am now down 21. I gained 2 back and lost it again...see, same pounds coming back over and over. LOL

                              I know how to lose weight.I remained 8 months AF and was very proud of my health.Everyone used to elaborate about my skin /face which was really dashing.
                              Now its stuffed...

                              A learned habit surely be unlearned !!

                              2012: Continuous AF for 7 months from May to Oct.

                              Big Relapses : 6th November and 12th December 2012.

                              2013 : So many ups and down !!

                              2014: Has a conviction to stay with a healthy life.

                                I think we get losing and gaining weight until we are stable/balanced in dieting.
