Hey Tawny, I've been in touch with Ven.Pannyavaro, the Aussie monk who started Budhanet. They're now based in Lismore somewhere.

Cashy, That teaching is direct from Buddha. It instantly appealed to me. And there are a lfew things in Buddhism I can't yet accept or grasp the meaning of. (oops ended that with a preposition). So, I just don't worry about it. When I am ready, I will understand. How cool is that.

Hi Everybody!! Cashy ... I am a lapsed Anglican, I think (well, Episcopalian). Thanks for all the resources on this page. Just took a nappy and am up to finish some work and look at where I am .... I am definitely going to look up those books Fran. Now - a question. If I clicked on "whattodowhenyouthinkyouareanoldfart.com.au" and it would not load, does that mean definitively that I am NOT an old fart? Yes, I did click - three times.

The website is fictitious.

I just did a www.BlahBlahBlah.com thing and see .... even that looks like a real website. I am not an expert I just stumbled upon this. OMG why do I feel like a blogger or spammer or whatever the baddies do .....

You try it.

Do www. anything you like .com and it will happen to you then you will be a blogger spammer too.

Is it just me or is this page reading from bottom to top rather than top to bottom?

I am on no medication whatsoever.

I'm VERY interested in Buddism. I haven't much time right now as I'm in school and my reading assignments are all I can take, but when I'm done, I'd like to learn more about it. I'll stay tuned to the thread and contribut where I can. Thanks for suggesting it Irishlady!

I've got a house to clean, a cake to bake, chicken drumsticks to cook, fairy bread to make, chips and dips to put out, fruit to cut up, have a shower, take the kids to Hip-Hop dance class, birthday presents to wrap and the dog has just peed on the box my daughters birthday bike came in. All in 2 hours.
